The Dept. Health and Human Services has released a publication containing voluntary cyber-security practices for all sizes of healthcare organizations – from local clinics to large hospital systems.
The publication is the result of a two-year, public-private partnership between HHS and healthcare industry professionals.
More than 150 cyber-security and healthcare experts participated in the effort, which was mandated through the Cybersecurity Act of 2015.
