The ‘HIRE Vets Medallion Award’ is the only federal-level veterans’ employment award that recognizes a company’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.
The agency is now accepting applications for the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion.
The agency awards Gold or Platinum medallions, and has different requirements for small, medium or large-sized businesses. For example, a business with fewer than 50 employees must have either 7% (Gold Medallion) or 10% (Platinum medallion) of new hires that are veterans, or a specific % combination of existing employees and new veteran hires.
