The federal government exceeded its small business federal contracting goal for the sixth consecutive year, awarding just over 25% of federal contract dollars to small businesses in FY 2018 – a total of $120.8 billion.
The Fiscal Year 2018 Small Business Federal Procurement Scorecard marks the first time more than $120 billion in prime contracts has been awarded to small businesses.
- Small Disadvantaged Businesses were awarded $46.5 billion ( 9.65%)
- Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses were awarded $20.6 billion ( 4.27%)
- Women-Owned Small Businesses were awarded $22.9 billion (4.75%) and
- HUBZone Businesses were awarded $9.9 billion (2.05%)
