GSA has issued a Request for Quotes for companies with experience in design and agile software development who currently hold a Schedule 70 GSA contract, and plans to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).
Companies must be able to show that they follow the principles outlined in the U.S. Digital Services Playbook, create a prototype based on a public dataset, and post their work in a publicly accessible repository.
Five Small Business contracts will be awarded for design expertise; five Small Business contracts for development; and ten awards for various skill sets will be open to businesses of all sizes.
Price is significantly less important than technical approach.
GSA estimates the purchase volume through these agreements could be $25 million over the life of the BPA.
