When federal agencies have difficulty complying with Buy America and Buy American provisions, they can turn to the National Institute of Standards & Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership, to identify and connect with U.S. manufacturers that meet their technical and production requirements.
The Manufacturing Extension Partnership’s Supplier Scouting program identifies domestic manufacturers, and connects them with the supply chains of large companies and federal agencies.
