This week is the SBA’s Veterans Small Business Week, and their staff all across the country will be offering business counseling and training, capital and business development opportunities through government contracts.
Nearly one in 10 small businesses is veteran-owned, and veterans are 45% more likely than those with no active-duty military experience to be self-employed.
The SBA has 68 local district offices and 15 Veterans Business Outreach Centers across the country.
