After a journey of 3 billion miles and 9 ½ years, NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft will be closest to Pluto tomorrow, and will begin a five-month study of Pluto and its moons.
On Wednesday NASA expects to release close up images of Pluto, though it will be receiving data from the mission until well into 2016.
